About me

Hi, I’m Alex — a data analyst and visualization specialist with a background in information science and data infrastructure. I design dashboards, data models, and reporting systems that make complex information clear, reliable, and actionable. My work sits at the intersection of analytics, storytelling, and system design: turning raw data into tools that help organizations see patterns, make decisions, and measure impact.

I’ve built data products and reporting pipelines for teams across healthcare, higher education, and enterprise environments, using tools like SQL, Python, Power BI, and Tableau. I care about data quality, thoughtful design, and making insight accessible to everyone.

Full resume available upon request.

I was raised in Texas but have lived and worked in New York, California, Ontario, New Mexico, and the Netherlands. I'm now based in Austin.

I have professional and educational backgrounds in design, botany, and metadata librarianship. In my free time, I enjoy gardening, hiking, swimming, reading, two-stepping at local honky tonks, and contributig to citizen science botany projects 🌱
